New York Life Agent Pins - provided by Sherry Lapple (Agent's granddaughter)

We are grateful to Sherry Lapple, the granddaughter of agent Theodore (Ted) Barbier.  Ted was and agent in Trenton, Michigan.  Sherry was not sure of the dates when he was an agent.  He was born in 1902 and passed away in 1979.   Both of these items were found among her mother's possessions.  The first is a pin from the 1962 Cornorstone Campaign.  The first is a pin from the Cornerstone Campaign. This was a campaign run when the new home office was built in 1962. The Chairman of the board ran a campaign that awarded agents who meet the goal that their name would be put down on a parchment and inserted in the cornerstone of the new home office building. That cornerstone was recently found by Ted and Sy Sternberg during a construction project.  The second pin was for agent Ted Barbier's making Star Club (year unknown) in the Central Region.
